WHO AND WHAT IS INTIMATE LIFE MINISTRIES?

Intimate Life Ministries (ILM) is a training and resource ministry whose purpose is to assist in the development of Great Commandment ministries worldwide. Great Commandment ministries - ministries that help us love God and our neighbors - are ongoing ministries that deepen our intimacy with God and with others in marriage, family, and the church. Intimate Life Ministries (ILM) also has partnerships with numerous denominations, movements and ministries across the US and Europe.

HOW CAN INTIMATE LIFE MINISTRIES SERVE YOU?

The Great Commandment Network is an effective, ongoing support network for churches, ministries, and Christian leaders. Here are a few ways ILM can serve you:

1. Ministering to Ministry Leaders  Galatians 6:6 Retreats  offer a unique two-day retreat to ministers and their spouses for personal renewal and for reestablishing and affirming ministry and family priorities. The retreat accommodations and meals are provided as a gift to ministry leaders by cosponsoring partners. Thirty to forty such retreats are held throughout the U.S. and Europe each year.

    

2. Identifying, Training, and Equipping Lay Leaders ILM is committed to helping the church develop relational leaders through:

    

   • Sermon series  on several Great Commandment topics to help pastors communicate a vision for Great Commandment health as well as identify and cultivate a core lay leadership group.

    

   • Experiential, user-friendly resource packages for deepening Great Commandment love. All courses are video-assisted and complete with detailed workbooks and leaders' guides.

    

   • Weekend Workshops for enriching relationships and implementing Great Commandment ministry in the local church through marriage, parenting, or single adult workshops. Conducted by Intimate Life Community Trainers, these workshops are a great way to jump-start Great Commandment ministry within the local church.

    

3. Providing Crisis Care and Support  The Center for Relational Care  provides support to relationships in crisis through Relational Intensives for couples, families, and singles.
